DESCRIPTION

After having accompanied the best specialists in time trial racing for years, the Prologo TGale TT saddle is renewed with a revolutionary design, the result of aerodynamic studies and track tests, ready to accompany professionals and the most demanding cyclists in their time trial challenges. 

Designed using CFD aerodynamic simulation software, the new Tgale was developed and refined thanks to the valuable feedback of great champions such as Filippo Ganna, Tadej Pogacar, Joshua Tarling, Stefan Küng and Stefan Bissegger. Anatomical shape

Studying the position of professionals allowed us to analyze the seating area of the saddle used during time trials, which is in fact shorter than the entire length of the saddle, which must still comply with the dimensions imposed by UCI regulations.

From these studies and tests, and in full compliance with UCI regulations, Prologo's intuition and revolution was born: to create a high-performance time trial saddle, with variable padding that is higher at the tip and in the central section, where the cyclist actually sits, and extremely reduced at the rear.

Technologies

The saddle's completely flat nose features over 20mm of increased padding to provide greater support and comfort when pedaling at maximum power. In the center, the padding tapers to 18mm, reaching a cutout—a "step" at the rear that is essentially unused by the cyclist—where the padding is drastically reduced to just a few mm.

The cutout in the padding between the front and rear sections achieved a dual objective: a reduction in the overall weight of the saddle and improved aerodynamics thanks to the thinner rear shape, which directs airflow from the cyclist's back parallel to the road.

The base, made of injected Long Fiber Carbon, has been thinned by over 5mm and contributes significantly to the reduction in the overall weight of the saddle, which at 234g in the CPC version is 8% lighter than the previous model.

To further increase performance, Tgale TT uses CPC (Connect Power Control) technology, the patented system with three-dimensional conical nano structures that improve grip, absorb vibrations and maximize the cyclist's stability, helping him maintain the maximum aerodynamic position for as long as possible.
